How it works?
It’s a 1 Step Process.  Read to save money? Just provide titleinsuranceonline.com with some information on the transaction and the property.  Upon submission, we will immediately send notification to up to 5 qualified title insurance providers in your area alerting them that a quote for title insurance has been requested.  Soon after, title insurance providers will be emailing or calling you, depending on your preference.  You then compare the different quotes and choose the one that best suits your needs.

How does titleinsuranceonline.com get paid?
titleinsuranceonline.com does not charge you, the consumer, any fees for its services. The title companies pay us for the right to be a member of our website.

Am I obligated to accept an offer?
If you are not satisfied with any of the offers presented to you, you are under no obligation to accept any of them.

How many title companies bid for my business?
We work hard to ensure that your request is sent to five title companies. Unfortunately, sometimes we are unable to match your request with five companies. However, the companies that do receive your request do not know how many other companies it has been sent to. Therefore, they operate under the assumption that four other companies are reviewing your request at the same time they are. While we encourage our title insurance company members to respond to every inquiry, they are not required to do so.

How do you get title companies to compete for my business?
It’s the basic economic concept of supply and demand. In most parts of the United States, title insurance business is very competitive, meaning that there are multiple companies competing for your business. Since price is often a compelling determining factor for consumers, title companies are motivated to provide you with the most competitive pricing possible. It is important to note, however, that in many states, title insurance and various related closing costs are regulated and therefore many of the charges may be identical from multiple title insurance providers bidding on the same transaction.

How will I find out about my quote?
You will receive an email or fax of the quote directly from each title insurance company.

After accepting an offer, how do I close the process?
After accepting an offer, you must communicate directly with the title company to complete the process.

How do I cancel my request for a quote?
After your request has been referred to a title company, you must contact them directly to cancel your request. The companies contact information is included in the details of your offer.

Who are your member companies?
Our partner companies consist of many of the most respected title agents in the country, some of which you may have heard of. Those you may not be as familiar with are probably local agents and operate only in a particular region of the country. The one thing that all of our agents have in common is that they are dedicated to providing the best possible service and competitive rates.

Can I negotiate directly with the member companies?
Absolutely. You are under no obligation to accept the company’s quote. We will supply you with contact information for that company. Feel free to contact the company directly to discuss different rates.

What if I have questions relating to the quotes or about title insurance in general?
You are free to contact any of the member title companies directly.

If I want to place an order for title insurance, what do I do?
If you want to place an order with one of the companies who provided you with a quote, you will need to communicate with the title company directly (via mail, email or phone) to place your order.
